On Saturday, October 13th, 42 CYSP students and their advisors visited the Yoder’s Amish Home at Millersburg. Students had the chance to learn about different cultures, lifestyles, and traditions. They heard about Amish histories, and their religious and cultural beliefs. Students loved the animals. They saw, touched, and had fun with the cats, dogs, ducks, donkeys, ponies, horses, goats, cows, and sheep. Students also had the chance to take a ride in the authentic Amish Buggy. They visited an Amish elementary school, an Amish house, and an Amish kitchen as well. It was a great trip for students and the advisors.
