JROTC Distinction and Military Ball

JROTC Distinction and Military Ball

  • Friday, April 26th

Our Army JROTC program has been award for being recognized as an Honor Unit of Distinction. Only 5 percent of all Army JROTC programs in the country

are recognized with this designation. One of the benefits is JROTC units are designated as Honor Units and may nominate up to three cadets to the Service Academy of any branch, in addition to the nominations to the unit’s own branch academy. This has helped open up great opportunities for our cadets qualifying as Honor Unit with Distinction. This is the highest rating Army JROTC units can receive. Cadets will wear the gold star on their uniforms, which designates them belonging to an Honor Unit with Distinction.

To celebrate such an amazing year for the Army JROTC program they held their annual Military Ball on Friday, April 26th at the Normandy Party Center. Guest enjoyed deliciously prepared foods, sang and danced the night away, and watched a special recognition ceremony.  The event was a great success as everyone in attendance enjoyed themselves. Successes like these help ensure a bright future for our Army JROTC program and our cadets.
