Mission Statement
At Horizon Science Academy Cleveland High School (HSA), our mission is to create a learning community in which teachers, parents and students work together to achieve academic excellence in a rigorous college preparation curriculum. HSA strives to be the benchmark of superior public education through teaching skills in math, science, and technology necessary to become bold inquirers, analytical thinkers, and ethical leaders in the 21st century. We strive to create a diverse community that fosters mutual respect and social responsibility, enhanced by a strong partnership between home and school.
Our Vision
Horizon Science Academy Cleveland High School (HSA) envisions academic excellence reflected in:
- Achieving 90% or better in Math, Science, and English on state mandated tests;
- Accomplishing and maintaining 95% student retention, attendance, and grade promotion;
- Establishing an effective character education program embedded in curriculum;
