HSA F.I.R.E PBIS

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a schoolwide approach designed to create a positive and productive learning environment. It focuses on teaching and reinforcing appropriate behaviors while promoting a culture of respect, responsibility, and success for all students.
At HSA, our PBIS program is centered around the word F.I.R.E., which stands for Fearless, Integrity, Respect, and Effort. Fearless encourages students to be brave, take chances, and not let fear limit their growth. Integrity reminds us to do the right thing even when no one is watching. Respect emphasizes treating peers, teachers, and our environment with care and dignity. And Effort highlights that success comes from consistent hard work and perseverance.
We implement PBIS through Kickboard, a system that tracks student behavior throughout the school day. Students earn points for demonstrating positive actions and may lose points for poor choices. At the end of each month, students can use their points to purchase rewards from our Dragon Store. The link to order your Dragon Store items is provided below.
