Transportation

At Horizon Science Academy Cleveland High School we have two available transportation options. In addition to the RTA busing available to Cleveland residents, we will offer private busing from two of our sister school locations. Please see options and details listed below:

OPTION 1 - RTA (for Cleveland Residence Only)

  •       RTA busing will be available to those students who live within the city of Cleveland two or more miles from the school. Students will be provided with a RTA bus ID card that they will use for the riding the bus. If you wish to register for RTA please fill out the below 512 Form and submit it to the office. Lost ID cards cost $10 and will require a money order made out to CMSD Department of Transportation. There will be no exceptions. ID cards or bus tickets will not be available for the first week or two of school, therefore parents will be responsible for getting their child to school during this time.

**This program is offered to us through CMSD schools. We submit forms to them and then we must wait back to hear from them    regarding your approval. We have no control of the turn around time for receiving approval, physical bus tickets or ID cards.

OPTION 2 - Private yellow bus - 3 Location Pickups
(Available to All Students)
  •       We offer private busing with two pickup/drop-off locations. Busing will be available from  West Side -WC Reed Park located next to Horizon Science Academy Denison (1518 W 15th St, Cleveland, OH 44109) , East Side - Noble Academy (1200 E 200th St, Euclid, OH 44117) & South East Luke Easter Park (parking lot located off of Ramona Blvd (3090 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Cleveland, OH 44104)). Buses will leave these locations promptly at 7:40 AM to transport students to school and will leave HSA Cleveland High at 2:40 PM to return students to their pickup/drop-off location. If you miss the drop-off time, it will be your responsibility to get the student to school for the day. In order to utilize this option, parents must register their student as a list of students who should be on the bus will be kept. Filled out forms must include your student’s name and grade as well as which location your child will be transported from. This option is available for 9th-12th graders only. No younger siblings will be allowed to ride these buses as it is a liability and they will not be covered under our insurance. Unregistered students will not be transported – NO EXCEPTIONS!
